We got the new message board today. Been modifying it all day and now it's time for a smoke! lol Keep on the look for new show dates. We'll update as much as we can to make sure that you all know where we're going to be. I also got my domain name today. I'm very excited and happy to finally be able to get most of this stuff done!

Finalizing the Details
Today Heather and I took a ride out to Bestbuy to find a laptop, but all we found were a bunch of kids who didn't know jack! So after we QUICKLY left Bestbuy we decided to head into Mid River's Mall. Radio Shack was our destination. We were asked if we needed help as soon as we entered the door and within 5 minutes ALL of our questions were answered with a positive note! WOOT!! So after that we walked over to a store called Threads, just so we could look at the prices for getting a few shirts made! $80.00 for 2 tee-shirts. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??!!?
So we decided to go home and relax for the evening. Well, don't you know as soon as we got home, we saw there was a message on the phone. Yup, it was Doug. He was running a little late and asked if I could set up the equipment at Parrot's for him. Being the nice guy that I am, I said sure thing. An hour and a half later he comes in and well... he played for an hour, then I came back. Anyways... 1:20am we finally pulled into the garage and slumped into the house and finally to bed soon after.

After watching the Michael Jackson memorial today, I whipped out the old Photoshop and continued working on the website design. I pretty much have it laid out as I would like to see it when completed, but I'm still having a few issues coding it correctly. Darn that html lol. Anyways... I'm very happy with the design and I can't wait to see this forum filled up with my fellow singers!!!

Lining up Venues
Well, today I get to make a list of the places that I am going to talk to to see about getting some karaoke in their places. I am looking for Bars for the evenings Monday through Sunday, and hopefully a couple Winery's so we can get some kids karaoke going on.
Also going to be talking to the condo committee and ask them if I can do some karaoke once a month down at the pool during the summer for the kids in the neighborhood
We'll see how things go, but for now.. keep your fingers crossed!

PA Equipment Has Arrived!!
We spent a good chunk of this evening fiddling around with the new PA equipment. Got all the components installed in the rack. Found out that we're missing a cord for the subwoofer and one of the speakers is blown. So we'll be making another trip over to Guitar Center tomorrow morning to swap out the speaker, pick up a cord, some mic windscreens, and maybe a pole for the subwoofer. We're really happy with the sound quality of the equipment we've got working so far. The wireless mics have a much crisper, cleaner sound than the ones we're used to using. I can't wait to hear what the sub sounds like. ITS HUGE!!!!! So tomorrow is fine tuning all the settings and more goofing around. Have to learn this system inside and out so we know how to fix things if something goes wrong.
Time for some R&R and Stargate SG-1!
